No recent books

Okay well I haven't read any recent good books. So today I think I'm just going to name off some books that I have read that I really enjoyed. So here's the list.

Exposed
Burned
Cures for Heartbreak

And a bunch more. I really can't remember all of them.

How far would you go (Exposed)

How far would you go to get an Internet boyfriend? Chan and her friend Devon have decided which online guy Chan will talk to. So Chan and this online guy have been talking for a while. He asked her out. She says yes.

I took my chances
I decided it would work
I let my fingers type
But I don't know who he really is

The person behind this screen
The one that tells me what I want to hear
He makes me feel important
But I don't know if he's real

I let my mind go blank
I just sit back and watch
Looking at the words he types
But I was I could hear his voice

He says he wants to meet me
I'm dumb enough to say yes
It was a big mistake
Because now... I'm trapped

New Book "Exposed"

I just started reading a new book called "Exposed" by Susan Vaught. So far it's really good. It's about this girl and she wants a cyber boyfriend. Someone she can have without the complications, someone who will love her and tell her shes pretty when she doesn't feel like it. It basically just tells you the dangers of having friends and boyfriends on the internet. It's a really good book so far. I like it.

I clicked the search button
Hoping dating sites would show
But to my surprise
Of course I'd already know

A thousand times and a thousand times more
Sites showed up
Guys lined up
I thought I knew what was in store

The way he would type "your beautiful"
The way he showed emotion threw words
I felt like he was perfect
Little did I know

Behind that glass screen
Was someone completely different from who he said he was
He said he was 16 tall dark and handsome
But his words were a tunnel

He sucked me in whole
He didn't let me out
He said he wanted to meet me
I said yes because my heart stole

He grabbed me by the arm
He took me away
He hid me and hurt me
He told me I had to stay

He hit me and took back the words he said
No matter how much I begged
He never listened
My eyes are blue because of my decision

Now I'm in the clouds
Now I'm in the sky
Watching over girls like me
Just so they wont die

Figurative Language

Figurative language (the bet)

"In 2 years the piano was silent in the lodge"
"He threw himself eagerly in the studies"
"howling and giving the trees no rest"
"He felt the darkness from the steps and the door"

My own figurative language

"The wind whistled me a lullaby as aI fell asleep"
"The clouds made a blanket of darkness, and the rain attacked the ground as it fell"

They way they work (Tricks)

Drugs are black wholes. When you get close enough they suck you in and not let you out. The characters in the book (Tricks) meth and pot tear these teenagers apart.

Ecstasy isn't just a meaning
It's a drug
It takes you in
Swallows you deep
It makes you feel good
But In reality holds you back
It won't let you go
Making sure you not sane
I know it's wrong
I don't let it get the best of me
Better keep telling myself that
Because I know it's already messed me up
